THE INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS “BEST OF SHOW” 2020 AT HOUSE OF LUCIE, BUDAPEST
Reflecting on her selection, Anne Morin expressed, “Bringing together photographs in the form of an exhibition is above all to give free rein to one’s sensitivity, and it is this sensitivity that makes a certain typology visible and creates a clearly defined order and logic. An exhibition contains its own dialectical movements, which together tell a story. I conceived this “Best of Show” exhibition as an exquisite corpse, this literary game invented by the Surrealists at the beginning of the 20th century, and of which Georges Bataille will say ‘it is the most perfect illustration of the spirit.’”
Although the exhibition has concluded, it remains a testament to the creativity and talent within the photography community, further enriching the artistic landscape in Budapest.
