Isabelle Ha Eav Ruiz (born in 1996, Paris) works with the history of photography exploring the materiality of the image by experimenting with vintage techniques.
Through various subjects, Isabelle Ha Eav transcribes the notions of presence and #absence #imprint #erasure and #memory .
Her work is exhibited in various international art centers and museums (Camille Claudel Museum, Kunst Haus Wien Museum, Siao-Long Cultural Center, etc.).

Isabelle Ha Eav Ruiz is a French photographer who works with the history of photography, exploring the materiality of the image through 19th-century processes such as gum bichromate, in dialogue with contemporary experiments that mix photography and painting. She trained in engraving and then photography, notably at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles. Through her work she explores presence and absence, imprint, erasure and memory.
