About the Gallery

The House of Lucie in Kashan was restored as a blend of a Qajar-era house (over 100 years old) and two modern homes, creating a stunning venue that accommodates over 300 photographs by masters of photography. The historical house, with its three gardens, 30 rooms, and two wind towers—iconic features of Iranian desert architecture—provides a unique setting for this gallery.

The House of Lucie Kashan opened in 2021 with the Lucie Foundation Permanent Collection by the masters of photography and two exhibitions: one by Italian photographer Yvonne De Rosa, who photographed the construction workers during the house’s restoration, and another by Iranian photographer Mehrdad Oskui, showcasing master Iranian photographers.
