Mania Karimianpour

Mania Karimianpour is an artist working across sculpture and photography. In her practice she sees every element and every encounter as something that extends beyond its material existence, and seeks to draw out the spirit of things, breathe life into them and share them with others.

She brings her sculptures to life with the same intensity and audacity with which she allows herself to be transformed before the camera. Her work treats the body not as something to be denied or transcended, but as something to be acknowledged and embraced.

Her exhibition I Wept in Place of Every Stone in the World, curated by Maryam Firuzi, opened at House of Lucie Budapest in October 2026, inviting visitors on an inward journey through matter, the body and physical existence.
